Book Binding (Saddle Stitch and Perfect Bound)
With our sheetfed offset printing press, we also offer a full range of services from our bindery. The picture on the right shows our automated saddle stitcher (stapling through the center fold) and we can arrange for your job to be perfect bound as well. We also offer the option of spiral or coil binding, where basically holes are punched along the entire length of the spine of the page and a wire is wound through the holes.
Paper Drilling
Our paper drill (bottom picture) is used to drill round holes into paper and other materials. Paper drill bits are available for different hole sizes and in different coating qualities. Unlike hole punching, where only one or a few sheets may be processed, a large number of sheets can be processed with a paper drilling machine. This is definitely a task that should be done at a Vancouver bindery as it is far too tedious to do at the office with a large number of sheets.
Die-Cutting
Our bindery offers die-cutting services, where the dieline is printed on the sheet and then a special machine can follow the die-line, therefore cutting the sheet to the outline.
